The band has evolved over these past years to incorporate Jazz & Classical themes into the improv, as well as originals in the same genre. The band has played at numerous notable venues in the DMV area, and has expanded out to the DelMarva. CRASHOUT started in the Delaware music scene in November of 2024. Members Alexis Baldwin (Vox), Sean Hobson (guitar), Corey Marks (bass/vox), and Nathan Beyer (drums) met through the scene, n the rest is history. With heavy influences from punk, emo, hardcore, and alternative music, there is nothing short of a diverse discography from CRASHOUT.

Arkum
Established in the late 2021, Arkum is an up and coming rock band comprised of Tanny Linefsky on vocals, Steven Goldstein on lead guitar, Jake Zaidman on drums & Payton Kleppe on bass. The band hails from New Jersey, known best for their energetic, high-intensity live performances and the release of their singles Stay Away and Your Home. The band is currently recording more music for an upcoming full length album!

Secondhand Stray
Hailing from Newark, DE combining alternative rock, indie rock, and grunge tones. It features Cooper Feeny on bass and vocals, Owen Rader on lead guitar and vocals, Patric Donato on rythm guitar and vocals, and Kevin Warner on drums and keyboard. Their self titled EP released July 18th, 2025 and is available on all platforms. They’re exquisite and fantastically stupendous.

Shark Shark is a weird loud rock band from Baltimore MD, combining indie rock, jazz, and emo. Started in 2025, it features Jonas Cohen on drums, Lex Baldwin on bass, and Angus Goucher on guitar. New music available soon, existing music available under Angus Goucher. It's really awesome and you want to go to their shows and buy their music. AAGGGHGGGHHAGGGHHHH

The Local Singer Songwriters Round featuring Elena Barrett, Bobby Hensley, Ashley Chapa and Nicholas Ray

Elena Barrett is a Singer/Songwriter who was raised on a farm in Southern Maryland. People would describe her voice as soulful country with other inspiration from blues and jazz music. She writes her songs about authentic experiences from her life and others. Elena’s goal as a musician is to evoke an emotional connection through her lyrics. Her biggest influences consist of artists like Bonnie Raitt, Chris Stapleton, and Marcus King. She is currently working on recording her music for all streaming platforms coming soon.

Bobby Hensley is a versatile vocalist and musician whose sound blends Southern rock, country, and Americana with the soul of gospel. With a background in church music ministry spanning nearly two decades, his roots run deep in both faith and Southern tradition. Bobby has played venues across the region, connecting with audiences through raw vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and a passion for storytelling. Influenced by artists like Chris Stapleton and Travis Tritt, his music carries a timeless sound shaped by both the stage and the sanctuary. No matter the venue, Bobby Hensley brings authenticity, heart, and a message that resonates.

Ashley Chapa grew up in a family of entertainers. Her roots are planted in country music from singers like Patsy, Dolly and Loretta. She also loved the soulful sounds of Motown as well as the big power house voices of Mariah, Whitney, and Celine and she's excited to make her mark as a singer on the Eastern Shore and put out some original music of her own.

Jen Schimpf is a self-taught pianist and guitarist who weaves indie blues vibes with heartfelt storytelling. Inspired by her experiences navigating emotional and physical challenges, her music offers a sense of healing, strength, and connection. 2025 brings exciting developments, as multiple songs from her 5-song EP Static in the Attic will be featured in an indie film selected for the Santa Monica Film Festival. Jen has performed at notable local events including the Annapolis Songwriters Festival and Songbird Festival, and will be gracing the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage this June.

Nicholas Ray is a promising, self-taught musician/singer/songwriter  hailing from
Maryland's Eastern Shore. Nicholas creates his music based on life experiences that many people can relate to. He is strongly  influenced by the sounds of  Zach Bryan as well as Charles Wesley Godwin,  and Tyler Childers.
Nicholas is well known for his indie country;  his laid back- relaxed style which makes his music
easy listening and thought provoking.

A Very Veer Halloween

Join the hard-hitting rock band VEER for a Halloween spectacle like no other--a night of face-melting riffs, haunting visuals, and pure adrenaline. VEER is an award-winning American rock band from Annapolis, Maryland. The band features singer and guitarist Ronald Malfi, drummer Jon Malfi, bassist Christian Mathis, and lead guitarist Ryan Fowler. VEER’s music owes its origin to the post grunge, alternative hard rock movement of the 1990s and 2000s, but is elevated with modern pop sensibilities and commercial appeal.

VEER was formed in 2016 and following their inaugural performance at a Baltimore music festival, VEER's sophomore show was opening for the Detroit-based rock band Sponge. VEER were lauded for their performance, with critics praising their unique sound and live energy, and they quickly became the go-to opening act for nationals coming through Maryland on the tour circuit. To date, VEER has shared the stage with such acts as Fuel, Eve to Adam, Puddle of Mudd, 40 Below Summer, Trapt, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Ayron Jones, Pop Evil, Plush, Buckcherry, Until I wake and many more.

VEER’s debut album, Apocalyptic, Baby, was released on December 1, 2018, andimmediately broke Amazon's top 50 rock albums sales. VEER supported the album with a mid-Atlantic run, and ultimately closed out that run by performing at the 2018 Maryland Music Awards, where the band took home the award for Best Rock Artist. The following year, VEER was awarded Best Rock Song for their single “Come Clean” by the World Songwriting Awards, an international organization that promotes and recognizes songwriting in various genres throughout 129 countries worldwide.

VEER released their sophomore album, Soft Machines, on July 23, 2023, to critical acclaim. The band performed heavily throughout the mid-Atlantic region to support the album, and released music videos for the singles “Red Tide,” “Science,” “Figure It Out,” and “A New Place (Pretty Loser).” 

Most recently, VEER released a cover of “Pet Semetary,” a cover of the Ramones’ seminal classic written for the 1989 Stephen King film of the same name.

The band’s entrepreneurship has seen them collaborate with filmmakers and other musicians. Recently, VEER enjoyed a licensing deal with Old Line Spirits, who produced the band’s VEER Rock'n Roll Vodka, which was distributed throughout the mid-Atlantic region in liquor stores, concert venues, bars, and restaurants. The band also collaborated with Rapture Brewing in Oklahoma, to release a limited-edition VEER BEER. The band is consistently thinking of new ways to reach wider audiences while continuing to compose and perform their unique brand of hard rock music.

Korupt LIVE at Cult

Korupt was formed in late 1982 when hard rock, hair metal and MTV were the rage. The band has performed at most of the iconic clubs around the tri state area, including the Bayou in Georgetown, Hammerjacks in Baltimore, The Paragon in College Park as well as many others. They were also included in the Hammerjacks Rockumentary. Korupt has also performed at the M3 festival at Merriweather post pavilion on 4 occasions.  Korupt was the most repeated band at the Island Bay Day festival, which ran for 10 years. There is an original CD called Blood Brothers available on most streaming networks. They have kept their shows to the classic style of the 80’s, doing covers from Guns and Roses, Slaughter, Black Sabbath and Dokken just to name a few.  If you still love the 80’s or Hair Nation on satellite radio then this is the band to see.

The Greater Maryland Beer Festival RETURNS 

We invited our bestest friends from around the state to share their favorite styles with you. We'll have 40+ beers to sample unlimitedly (yes that's a word now) while you enjoy unlimited trips to the Make-Your-Own-Pretzel-Necklace-For-The-Beer-Festival buffet.

The party will run from 12-4pm outdoors and we’ll also have big beefy beer brats and other delicious foods you can purchase a la carte, and all sorts of entertainment including a live game show, music, beer fest bingo and a presentation of medals for winning beers based on YOUR voting.

Each guest will get a ticket and can put them in the ballot box to vote for best beers, coolest breweries, and best brewery hairstyles.

We're also giving you a prize for the the best COSTUME.
This year's theme, DRESS LIKE A STEREOTYPICAL BREWERY

A ticket is just $39 in advance and includes unlimited samples during the 4 hour extravaganza as well as access to all the ridiculousness.

Tickets go up to $42 one week before the event and $45 at the gate.

Medium Debbie Wojciechowski returns to Cult

We are thrilled to announce that Medium Debbie Wojciechowski will be coming to Cult Classic Brewing in Stevensville, MD to offer a fascinating Mediumship Experience!

Join Medium Debbie on Thursday November 13 2025 as she provides detailed messages to random audience members from their loved ones in Spirit. While all attendees are NOT guaranteed a reading, it is an excellent opportunity to better understand the amazing world of Spirit.

Debbie's metaphysical journey began with a near death experience when she was a teenager. Multiple personal losses in her early 20's prompted a personal journey to study and learn more about what she had come to realize is a Metaphysical gift. She has studied extensively with British mediums in the traditions of the Spiritualist Churches of Great Britain. Concurrently she did pursue a more 'normal career'; she holds a masters' Degree for Johns Hopkins and worked as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer for over 20 years.  This background and experience dealing with very difficult situations lends itself well to the readings she provides with insight, sensitivity, and empathy. 

We do ask that all attendees be at least 18 years of age.

Second Hand News LIVE to Cult November 2025

Second Hand News is a six piece Maryland based band that faithfully performs the music of Fleetwood Mac, occasionally dipping into the solo catalogs of Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie. It all started in 2008 as a one-off Halloween show, which turned into an annual tradition often drawing 500+ fans. As time went on, the single fall show expanded to several shows throughout the year at various clubs, concert halls and festivals.
